Guidelines for Member Use of Chamber Brand & Marketing Materials

The Kenmore Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce is committed to ensuring that its brand is represented in a clear, consistent, and professional manner. These guidelines outline how members may use Chamber logos, badges, and other brand materials.


Using Chamber Logos and Badges

As a member, you are authorized to display the official Kenmore Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce badge on your website. The badge must be displayed exactly as provided, without alteration except for proportional scaling.

Rules for Displaying the Badge:

  • Attribution is Required: The badge must always link to https://kentonchamber.org.
  • Do Not Modify: The badge cannot be altered in any way. Colors, text, or design cannot be changed. Only proportional resizing is permitted.
  • Do Not Host: You must not download and host the badge image yourself. Always link directly to the image on the Chamber’s website to ensure you have the most current version.

Approval Process for Special Uses

Any use of Chamber brand materials outside of these guidelines requires prior written approval. This includes co-marketing collateral, event signage, advertising, and any printed or digital adaptations.

To request approval:

  • Contact the Chamber office at info@ken-ton.org
  • Provide a description of the intended use
  • Share a draft or sample if available
  • Include the timeframe in which approval is needed

The Chamber will review requests and respond with approval, required changes, or denial. Approval must be secured in writing before materials are published, printed, or distributed.


Promoting Your Business with the Chamber

The Chamber offers multiple avenues for members to promote their businesses and connect with the community. We are committed to helping you amplify your message and grow your network.

  • Sharing Chamber Materials: You are permitted to share and promote any marketing materials that are officially created and approved by the Chamber. This includes event flyers, announcements, and promotional graphics. You are not permitted to modify these materials by adding your name, logo, or other branding.
  • Social Media: We encourage you to tag the Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce in your social media posts. While we cannot guarantee a reshare of every post, we do our best to promote member content when we see it.
  • Member-to-Member Deals: The Chamber provides opportunities for exclusive member-to-member deals. These special offers foster a supportive business community and encourage collaboration.
  • Submitting Promotions & Events: You can send us your events, promotions, or other announcements, and we will do our best to share them on our platforms. Please contact the Chamber with your information for review and potential promotion.

If you wish to be officially linked to a Chamber event, we have a number of sponsorship opportunities available throughout the year.

Why You Should Consider Sponsoring an Event

Sponsoring a Chamber event is the most effective way to officially connect your brand with our initiatives. It’s a powerful way to not only support the Chamber’s mission but also to elevate your own business.

  • Increase Your Brand Visibility: Get your business in front of local businesses and residents at an event and thousands more through our marketing.
  • Demonstrate Community Leadership: Show your commitment to the local community and build goodwill with residents and other businesses.
  • Network with Key Influencers: Meet and connect with community leaders, elected officials, and other prominent business owners.
  • Generate New Business: Directly connect with potential customers and clients who are engaged with the Chamber.
  • Approved Marketing Materials: For all sponsored events, the Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce will create and provide all approved marketing materials. These materials will incorporate your logo and brand according to our guidelines and your sponsorship level.
  • Promotion: As a sponsor, you are welcome to reshare and promote these approved materials across your own channels to maximize your visibility.

Violations

The Kenmore-Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce takes the integrity of our brand and the spirit of these guidelines seriously.

  • Reporting: If a member is found to be in violation of these guidelines, the Chamber will contact the member directly to request that they cease the unauthorized use and remove any violating materials.
  • Compliance: Members must correct or remove improper use within 7 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • Consequences: Failure to comply with a direct request from the Chamber within a reasonable timeframe may result in the revocation of your membership, without a refund of membership dues. Continued unauthorized use of Chamber marks after membership termination may also lead to further legal action.

Ownership

All Chamber logos, badges, and marketing materials remain the property of the Kenmore Tonawanda Chamber of Commerce. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
